Who is Ellie Brown and how old is she?

Ellie is a 20-year-old lass hailing from Newcastle.

In her preview clip, she said she'd "fall in love with a slice of bread if it said the right thing".

The blonde also stated: "I think boys would describe me as cute, but psycho if they treat me bad."

Before entering the show, she described her best attributes as her smile and the fact that she's "honest and real".

Ellie also admitted she was "in love with Alex", and said she did not have a type.

"I’m not looking for anything specific," the Geordie lass revealed.

"If they make me happy, they’re for me, and if they don’t, they’re not for me."

In terms of what she's looking to avoid, she described "arrogance, cockiness and bragging" as her biggest turn-offs.

Ellie said: "If you’ve got to brag and boast about it, you probably haven’t got it.

"If you have it and work hard for it, people will probably just know about it.

"Don’t go in there thinking you are the be all and end all."

How does Ellie Brown know Adam Collard?

The Sun Online exclusively revealed that the Geordie knew Love Island's resident snake, Adam Collard, from before.

Adam used to go out with Ellie's best friend, Claudia Proctor – and an insider source tells us the newbie won't let sleeping dogs lie!

The source said: "I can imagine it's going to get very heated in there.

"Ellie's angry about how Adam broke it off with Claudia.

"She's not happy about him blaming her friend's insecurities as his reasons for dumping her, so will definitely pull him up about that from the off."

The girl herself said: "Newcastle is very small so everyone knows everyone. We all speak.

"If I saw him in a nightclub I would say ‘hello’ but we’ve not been in the same friendship circle."

Has she 'secretly split' from Charlie Brake?

Ellie Brown had the nation behind her when she appeared to be falling for Dr Alex, however, she decided quickly that they had no sexual chemistry.

When Alex headed off to Casa Amor, Ellie enjoyed her freedom to get to know socialite Charlie Brake and they made their relationship official on July 2.

Although things seemed to be going well enough for the two to move in together after the villa, friends of the couple have been having trouble keeping up with their rocky relationship.

On August 14, we reported how Charlie was seen "flirting with several girls" on a night out clubbing without Ellie. 

The couple also had another furious bust-up after he refused to say he loved her in front of their friends.

Then there was the fiery showdown after the Love Island reunion show where Charlie got "too drunk" during the live broadcast which left Ellie fuming.

Charlie retaliated by throwing Ellie's clothes out of the window after a row about him chatting up a girl on a plane.

On August 23, it emerged he had chucked her out of his house during another huge row and on September 25, the pair confirmed they were over.
