November 29, 2022UNIVERSITY Challenge viewers couldn't get enough of one particular contestant on the latest episode of the show.
The Jeremy Paxman-hosted TV series – which has run since 1962 – is a quiz series, where various universities go head-to-head against one another.
Monday night's episode on BBC Two saw two new teams in the studio, who were gunning for the win.
Robert Gordon University return to the competition for the first time in 28 years to face the University of Roehampton for a place in the second round.
The contestants' intelligence was certainly impressive, but it was one of the hopefuls' appearance that caught the eye of viewers.
Fay Cooke, from Stockport who is studying for a diploma in professional legal practice, had all the viewers talking because of her notable appearance.

The university student wore a mid-low cut, v neck black blouse and she had a classic bob hairstyle.
Viewers were "mesmerised" by the contestants appearance with some saying she looked "mysterious" and "unique".
One viewer wrote: "There is something charming and mysterious about Cooke."
Another gushed: "I'm mesmerised by her."

Those at home also noticed that Fay resembled the singer Corinne Drewery from the 80s British pop band, Swing Out Sister and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One viewer wrote: "Cooke to sing out the show."
Another wrote: "I’m getting Swing out Sister vibes from Cooke. Corinne Drewery is a brilliant singer by the way."
Faye and her team at Robert Gordon ended up getting 210 points taking them to round two.
University Challenge continues on Monday on BBC Two.
