August 4, 2022

SUPERVET Noel Fitzpatrick opens up about his devastating loss of his pet dog Keira last year after nearly 14 years.

The Channel 4 series returns to our screens on Thursday night with many tear-jerking stories and insights into life as a vet.

Noel, 54, talked about loosing one of his dogs Keira who was involved in a traffic accident that left her in recovery for a year, before her passing.

She was sadly hit by a delivery van after it sped around a corner, just outside Noel’s veterinary practice leaving her with internal organ damage and a shattered pelvis.

The Irish veterinary surgeon operated on his own dog.

He announced the death of his beloved border terrier in September 2021 in an Instagram post.

He wrote: “It is with profound sadness I share the news that Keira, my beloved companion of nearly 14 years, has passed away.

“We were especially lucky to have been gifted magical further time with her when she nearly lost her life too soon a year ago.
