THE One Show fans were left baffled by ANOTHER 'schedule shake-up' – but all was not as it seemed.

The BBC show airs weekdays at 7pm but on Monday, moments before it started, the announcer got a bit muddled up.

Clearly thrown by Daylight Saving Time, they said: "Well it’s 6 o’clock…sorry…still not changed that clock. Welcome to Monday on BBC One…”

Viewers immediately took to Twitter to comment on the gaffe, with one writing: "Is the BBC announcer ok? I can’t tell if that was a joke or if he’s just an idiot."

Another added: "You had one job BBC! Check your watch!”

Thankfully once the show started, it went off without a hitch.

Hosts Alex Jones and Alex Scott were joined by Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman and stars of BBC legal drama The Split, Stephen Mangan and Deborah Findlay.

Last month, the show suffered an actual schedule shake up due to BBC News At Six airing for longer due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The news was broadcast on BBC One during The One Show's usual 7pm slot.

The family favourite show was moved to BBC Two at the same time.

In addition, BBC News At Ten was also extended and, as a result, Question Time was pushed back to 10:55pm.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, a BBC announcer appeared to introduce the wrong episode of EastEnders during a pivotal point in Gray Atkins' storyline.
