The Masked Singer final was full of surprises as a winner was crowned on the ITV singing competition. Sausage, Badger and Robin were the finalists and they each gave it their all to impress the panel and audience. Sadly Robin was the first finalist to be unmasked and here is all you need to know.
Who was Robin on The Masked Singer?
The second season of The Masked Singer has sadly come to an end and fans were treated to some impressive performances.
Joel Dommett took to the stage one last time to host the quirky singing competition, along with the regular panellists.
Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan had one last guess at who was behind the masks
They were joined by last year’s winner, Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts, who was the iconic Queen Bee.
Viewers were also treated to a special performance by all 12 contestants as they reunited one last time.
Sadly it was Robin who was first to leave the final and behind the mask was Aston Merrygold.
He said: “It has been brilliant, loved it.” The rest of JLS had no idea he was taking part.
Robin hinted they had been in “another competition” before and had performed in front of 17 million people.
The panel believed it was definitely a professional singer, presumably from The X Factor.
Robin showed off their dance moves one last time for For Once In My Life.
Ahead of their performance they dropped an Alexandra Burke clue, saying: “Hopefully I don’t make a berk of myself.”
After their song, they gave their final clue, saying “my name fits like a glove”.
The judges stuck to their guns with their original guesses of Aston Merrygold and Olly Murs.
Ahead of the final, Sausage was predicted to win season two as the panel had been left in awe from day one.
The most popular guesses for Sausage included Joss Stone, Sheridan Smith and Stacey Solomon.
Meanwhile, others had guessed Rebecca Ferguson, Anastacia and Billie Piper.
When it came to Badger the top three guesses were Ne-Yo, Kevin Clifton and Peter Andre.
Other viewers had suggested Will Green, Jay Kay, Jahmene Douglas and Carl Fogarty.

The Masked Singer: Badger predicted to be as Andy Serkis [FAN DISCUSSION]
Fans were certain Robin was between JLS star Aston Merrygold and X Factor singer Olly Murs.
Other guesses as to who was behind the majestic Robin included Nicky Byrne and Jake Wood.
Fans were thrilled to see former contestants Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Mel B, Glenn Hoddle, Martine McCutcheon, John Thomson, Lenny Henry, Morten Harket, Sue Perkins and Gabrielle return.
All 12 contestants gave a star-studded performance to gear fans up for the final big reveals.
The official Twitter account teased the final episode, saying: “Tonight, no more secrets. The truth is revealed.”
All three would be unmasked in the end, but only one would be crowned champion.
The trailer went on to show all of the panellists in complete shock as the final three contestants were revealed.
Ahead of the episode, one fan said on Twitter: “Both excited and very sad it’s the final tonight as it’s been brilliant and such a fun hot topic of debate with people on Twitter.”
Another said: “At last we will find out who Badger is! Defo the one who has confused people the most. Wine chilling in the fridge already, bring it on!”
Hopefully the uplifting series will be back for a third season next year.
