The Chase viewers make dig at Bradley Walsh after noticing ‘annoying habit’

August 12, 2020

Bradley Walsh was slated by The Chase viewers who were distracted by his 'annoying habit' during Tuesday's episode.

The 60-year-old television presenter is beloved by viewers for hosting the popular quizzing programme, but tonight fans noticed that the presenter had a catchphrase.

It was after the first player, John, didn't do too well in his cash-builder, prompting the host to remark: "You're a better player than £4k", several times.

One viewer tweeted: "Has Bradley mentioned John's a better player than £4k?"

While another wrote: "Better player than that klaxon!"

A third added: "You're a much better player than 4- he's said about 100 times."

"Much much better player klaxon", tweeted a fourth The Chase viewer.

Contestants Will, Deborah and John made it through to the final chase after one player, Carol, was beaten by chaser Mark Labbett.

Incredibly, the three contestants managed to answer 25 questions correctly, with Mark saying the last time this happened was in early 2011.

It meant the TV star, known as The Beast, had a difficult task on his hand as he attempted to stop the players from winning £14,000 between them.

After the tense final, the team managed to win as Mark ran out of time with just three questions left to answer.

Viewers were thrilled that the team were victorious, as many flooded Twitter with messages of congratulations after their win.
