Tenet end credits: Is there a post-credits scene?

Tenet end credits: Is there a post-credits scene?

August 26, 2020

Tenet is the latest movie from blockbuster auteur Christopher Nolan and has truly been hotly-anticipated. It comes after many movies of its kind, eg. Marvel’s Black Widow and No Time to Die, are still in their canisters awaiting release. For fans of the film, however, two and a half hours may not be enough, and a post-credit sequence will be at the top of their lists.

Is there an end-credits scene in Tenet?

Tenet has no post-credit scene and ends with the ending of the film.

Of course, to give too much information about the end of the film would be to spoil it, therefore no more details about the movie will be given here.

However, for those who want to know whether to stay even longer after the credits begin to roll, there will be nothing on the other side.

What is Tenet about?

The plot for Tenet is one which is better not knowing before entering the cinema, as spoilers can be easily found with very few words uttered.

The official synopsis is a good attempt at giving sufficiently spoiler-free information and reads: “John David Washington is the new Protagonist in Christopher Nolan’s original sci-fi action spectacle Tenet.

“Armed with only one word—Tenet—and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real-time.

“Not time travel. Inversion.”

While every synopsis of Tenet is fairly vague, this only adds to the mystery when the film opens and is certainly the best way to enjoy the film: without spoilers.

The film also stars Robert Pattinson, Sir Kenneth Branagh, Sir Michael Caine, Elizabeth Debicki, Himesh Patel, Clémence Poésy, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Dimple Kapadia.

Some of these stars only make short appearances, but each one certainly makes their stamp on the big screen.

The film is out now, so fans can head straight to the cinema to see it.

Of course, given Nolan’s favouring of making movies on 70mm, watching on the biggest screen possible is absolutely the way to go.

Therefore, given many cinemas will not quite be open with the movie’s release, fans may have to make a bit of a journey to enjoy Tenet in the way it as intended.
