Stacey Solomon glows in new breastfeeding pic with daughter Rose and jokes it's 'eat sleep feed repeat'

November 1, 2021

STACEY Solomon looked radiant in a new breastfeeding photo with her baby daughter Rose.

Stacey, 32, wore a cosy jumper and flashed a huge smile as she posed for the snap on Instagram.

The Loose Women star joked all she does is "eat, sleep, feed, repeat!" as she cradled the adorable tot in her arms.

Stacey also revealed she'd had an eventful Halloween on Sunday night with fiance Joe Swash and her sons Leighton, Zachary, and Rex.

She said: "Good morning after spending the night running between the bedroom and the garden last night swapping with Joe so we could both be with the boys for Halloween I am knackered today.

"But the boys went back to school today so I’m spending the day in the comfiest tracksuit I can find feeding up this little pumpkin and trying to sleep eat feed and repeat today.

"Hope you’re all okay and had a lovely Halloween. Happy first of November everyone which in my language means hello Christmas love you all."

The new parents kept their Halloween celebrations at home in the 'Pickle Cottage' where the whole family dressed up as characters from Pixar animated film, Monsters Inc.

Even baby Rose who is only a few weeks old was included in the festive outfits.

The celebrity parents even managed to get their hands on a life size Mike Wazowski costume which Stacey's oldest son Leighton, 13, got the honour of wearing.

Stacey previously was open about her difficulty breastfeeding her youngest son Rex, two, when he was born – and even broke down in tears about it.

Sharing a photo of Rex beaming as he held up some flowers, with his newborn baby sister wrapped in a blanket in the foreground, Stacey spoke candidly.

She told her followers: "I'm struggling again with feeding this time around, so spending all of my energy trying to feed, eat, and rest.

"Also seeing local breastfeeding specialists and the community midwives who have been incredible, so hoping for a more positive journey in the end this time but not putting pressure on myself."

Stacey added: "Even though it makes me a bit sad. Whatever will be will be."

The TV favourite documented her struggle with Rex back in 2019, sharing at the time: "Breastfeeding never happened for me the way that I imagined. I did my best to try and master it, but it wasn’t to be."

She confessed to feeling "like a failure" for not being able to feed her newborn, and spoke candidly about losing bonding time with him.

She wrote: "I felt like I’d failed & that I’d lost the chance to have that special time and bond with Rex. I felt like everyone else was going to feed him and I’d lose my baby."

However, Stacey was eventually able to come to terms with it, adding: "The truth is, I did my absolute best. Every baby is different.

"I’m so lucky I have a few wonderful breastfeeding memories and some women don’t get that chance. I have an extremely special bond with Rex, one that would be there whether I breastfed or not, he grew in my tummy and we’ve known each other for a long time."
