Spoilers: Kirk is promoted after achievement which stuns Carla in Corrie

When you think about who is most likely to compete for a promotion at Underworld in Coronation Street, Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment) probably isn’t that high on your list.
Sally (Sally Metcalfe), definitely. Michael (Ryan Russell), yes.
Kirk? Nope.
We’re set to be proved wrong in upcoming Corrie episodes as Kirk helps with a client – and gets surprising results.
In the factory, Sarah (Tina O’Brien) explains to Michael and Faye (Ellie Leach) that they desperately need more orders and they’re offering a weekly bonus to the person with the best sales figures.
As the competition gets underway, Sarah and Carla (Alison King) are dumbfounded as Kirk manages to win over the new client as he shows him around the packing area.
Suitably impressed, Mr Geronimo places an order.
At Beth’s (Lisa George) insistence, Carla and Sarah reluctantly agree to promote Kirk and give him the title of ‘Extra Office Administrator’.
Well, it’s good news for Kirk!
Let’s hope the new level of authority doesn’t go to his head…
