Sir David Attenborough to return to screens with second series of BBC hit Dynasties
December 28, 2020SIR David Attenborough will once again voice BBC hit Dynasties when it returns for a second series in 2022.
After more than eight million viewers were captivated by each episode in 2018, Dynasties II includes a new cast of wild characters and their stories.
Sir David will take us from the snow-capped Andes to dusty plains in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro and wetlands of the Zambezi River in the four hour-long episodes.
The show follows Angelina the elephant, she-cheetah Kali, Rupestre the puma and hyena leader Suma.
Jack Bootle, BBC’s head of commissioning, science and natural history, said: “Dynasties II will be a gripping look at the lives of four remarkable wild animals as they struggle to build a family against the odds.
“With characters you fall in love with, and genuine life-and-death stakes, this will be a series every bit as thrilling as the greatest drama.”
Executive producer Mike Gunton added: “Being able to tell these stories is a wildlife film-maker’s dream.”
