Shock exit for Mick in EastEnders as abuser Katy convinces him to leave?

December 14, 2020

Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) struggled to come to terms with Linda (Kellie Bright) having an affair in EastEnders (December 14), but in an effort to keep him quiet about what he’s going through, Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib) suggested he’d be better off leaving both his wife and Walford.

Viewers will know that Linda has been growing closer to Max Branning (Jake Wood) in recent months.

Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) made the discovery for herself in tonight’s episode, and wasted little time in telling Mick what she saw.

She was taken aback by Mick’s lack of interest in his own wife seemingly having an affair, and therefore railed at him — arguing that he needs to start fighting for his family.

Tina’s words hit home, and thus he called Katy and told her that he’s planning on telling Linda everything, but Katy soon arrived in Walford and managed to manipulate him into taking her for a drink.

Mick opened up about how he’s been unable to communicate with Linda, but Katy pushed him to reveal more about why he’s so upset.

He ultimately confirmed that he believed Linda is having an affair, but when he made clear his intention to save his marriage, Katy saw an opportunity.

She attempted to manipulate once more, as she suggested that his marriage to Linda isn’t worth saving, before encouraging him to leave Walford for good!

Will Mick listen?

EastEnders continues Tuesday December 15 at 7:35pm on BBC One.
