Prison exit as Finlay threatens Vinny in EastEnders murder plot

June 25, 2023

There could be another exit on the cards in EastEnders as Finlay Baker’s (Ashley Byam) feud with Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) steps up a gear in EastEnders.

Finlay was horrified to learn that someone had deliberately tampered with the breaks on his car, putting his life in danger, should he have attempted to drive it without knowing.

Viewers will know that Finlay was not the real target of the attack, but Eve Unwin, who was due to drive the car to Brighton.

After Vinny discovered her affair with his mum, Suki (Balvinder Sopal), he threatened her to stay away, though Eve refused to be intimidated.

Determined to get her out of the picture, Vinny took desperate measures and cut the breaks on the car, much to Suki’s horror.

Desperate to save her lover, Suki slit the tires, making it impossible for Eve to get behind the wheel and risk her life.

Things took a turn when freaked-out Finlay found Vinny’s necklace at the scene of the crime and realised that he was the one to have caused the damage.

After being threatened by Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) to keep his mouth shut, tensions are set to rise between Finlay and Vinny in upcoming scenes.

As Finlay threatens to call the police on Vinny, could he end up being carted off to prison?

He wouldn’t be the first Panesar to spend time in the nick, with dad Nish (Navin Chowdhry) having served 20 years for murder.

‘Like father, like son’ is a phrase the Panesars seem to live up to, as both of Vinny’s brothers have also been sent down within the past couple of years.

Is Vinny set to follow in their footsteps and leave the Square for good?
