Pride of Britain Awards 2021: Pregnant Catherine Tyldesley cradles her baby bump in glam dress

October 30, 2021

PREGNANT Catherine Tyldesley glowed on the red carpet of the Pride of Britain awards.

The former Coronation Street actress elegantly cradled her growing bump as she posed in a stunning white gown.

Catherine styled her brunette hair in an updo and looked every bit the star in a strapless white number with sheer, long-sleeved bodice.

Catherine, 38, recently announced she was expecting her second child with husband Tom Pitfield earlier this year.

The actress, who is currently four months pregnant, told her Instagram following it was her "bumps first wedding" and admitted she had a "lovely time".

"Bumps first wedding! I didn’t manage to stay very long, completely shattered after a busy week – and a fair bit of nausea today," Catherine wrote.

"But what a lovely little time we had. It felt so good to see everyone having a great time, in a room filled with so much love."

"Back home now with toast and tea while the hubby parties on," she added, before concluding that her dress was "perfect on bump".

The stars have been bringing the glamour to the awards already tonight, including Maura Higgins, Katherine Ryan, Jessica Wright and Frankie Bridge.

The Pride of Britain Awards celebrate the achievements of some of the world's most inspirational people.

The awards have been presented by Carol Vorderman, 61, since their inception in 1999.

But this year, she will be joined by Diversity star Ashley Banjo.

The duo will co-present the 2021 edition, and it is understood he will return for next year's ceremony too.
