There have been several theories surrounding Ghost’s apparent death with some fans thinking he faked it.

From theories of fake bullets, guns being switched and an ambulance waiting for Ghost to be taken away from Truth, speculation about his real fate is rife.

Fans weren’t really given any definitive answers about Ghost’s death either.

His body wasn’t shown being discovered in Truth by the police, no one identified his body in a morgue, and there was no funeral.

For many viewers, the fact there wasn’t a funeral is a big hint Ghost didn’t really die.

Fans have since taken to social media to express their outrage that Ghost was pretty much forgotten while the series focussed on finding his shooter.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “Soooo nobody noticed they didn’t have a funeral for ghost #PowerTV #iwannaseethebody.”

Another added: “So #PowerTV family who is going to give Ghost a funeral.”

“Why didn’t Ghost have a funeral #PowerTV Thinking face if he’s “dead“,” a third asked.

Someone else tweeted: “So since Ghost’s funeral wasn’t shown, is there still a possibility he didn’t die?

“I’m still holding on to this theory that be reappears in a later series Face with tears of joy #PowerTV #PowerFinale.’

A fifth continued: “#powertv Ghost didn’t even have a funeral. No shots of him in the morgue.

“I’m angry… still. Why didn’t they have a funeral for Ghost??? #PowerTV.”

That’s not the only reason Power fans aren’t happy with the series.

Viewers were left baffled when showrunner Courtney Kemp revealed the six seasons took place over just five months.

During season five, Courtney was asked by a presenter on Afterbuzz TV: “What’s the age range? Because you know, we -“

“Oh, yo. It’s very difficult,” she replied. “Because your kids on a series, they grow even if the time doesn’t grow.

“We’re playing Tariq as about 15 right now but that is really not… I mean, if you were really counting the days.

“The series itself has been five months but we cannot play Michael Rainey as 12. It just doesn’t make sense, like visually.”

She added: “The audience’s experience of this time is that it’s been five years, that’s not accurate to what has taken place within the narrative.

“But we just have to kind of live with it because that kid is taller than me, what am I going to do? He’s not in sixth grade.”

Power seasons 1-6 are available to stream on Netflix now.
