PETER Andre looked almost unrecognisable in a throwback he posted from his pop star days.

The 49-year-old is a regular on our TV screens now and recently confirmed to The Sun that his reality show is returning.

But before he became a telly personality Pete enjoyed success as pop star pin-up in the 90s.

Taking a trip down memory lane today the dad-of-four treated fans to one from the archives.

In the snap a very young Pete can be seen smouldering at the camera and sporting his then-trademark spider hairstyle.

Pete captioned the photo: "#throwbackthursday #tbt #90s."

He also urged the photographer who took the snap to get in touch, admitting he couldn't remember who it was.

Pete's followers were quick to comment on the upload, with many of them insisting his eldest daughter Princess, 15, looks just like he did back then.

One wrote: "This takes me back to been a teenager! Princess is your double ❤️."

Another said: "Love it Peter! This is how I remember you."

And a third added: "I had this picture on my bedroom wall 🤣💙."

Despite the huge success of Pete's single Mysterious Girl, which turned him into an overnight sensation when it was released in 1995, he previously revealed his kids won't listen to it.

Pete, who shares Princess and eldest son Junior, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price and is also dad to Amelia, eight, and Theo, five, with Emily MacDonagh, said: "Occasionally they’ll play one of my songs, but not Mysterious Girl. The one they seem to love is called Perfect Night.

“But I’ll usually tell them to put Ed Sheeran back on.”
