Our Yorkshire Farm's Clive Owen gives rare health update after major surgery

October 4, 2021

OUR Yorkshire Farm patriarch, Clive Owen, gave fans an update on his health after having surgery.

The hit show is back on Channel 5 this week, with plenty of teasers dropping ahead of its premiere on Tuesday.

The smash-hit Channel 5 programme follows Clive and his wife Amanda's incredible life on their sprawling farm with their nine children.

One teaser showed Clive opening up about his recovery after having hip replacement surgery.

Clive and his wife Amanda were seen forced to search for their flock of sheep on foot after a huge snowstorm prevented their vehicles from heading out.

As they worried about their sheep, Amanda looked over to her husband and noticed he was struggling.

“It’s hard going isn’t it? I think you’re in a bog actually,” she said to him

“I am.” Clive agreed.

As they continued to chat about options of how to search for the sheep, Amanda had a suggestion for her husband's mobility.

“I think we need to ask Ruben to make you some snow shoes,” the Yorkshire Shepherdess said.

Clive laughed and admitted his hip was giving him grief.

“My new hip didn’t bargain for this. Nobody told us about this,” he joked.

Amanda and the couple's nine children took on additional responsibilities at the Ravenseat farm while Clive recovered from his operation.

Last week, Amanda also shared a teaser from the upcoming series.

The 47-year-old penned: "I have so much catching up to do. It’s all been happening.

"But firstly and most importantly I must announce that there’s a new series of Our Yorkshire Farm starting next week on Channel 5."

Amanda then shared a tweet from Channel 5, which featured a clip teasing the first episode, which is due to hit screens in a week.

The post read: "New adventures await. All new Our Yorkshire Farm starts Tuesday 5th October on @channel5_tv.

"Stream the series boxset on My5 #OurYorkshireFarm @AmandaOwen8."

Our Yorkshire Farm returns to Channel 5 at 9pm.
