Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) is set to be find out the truth about Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) and Ed’s (Trevor Michael Georges) blackmail ordeal at the hands of Grace Vickers (Kate Spencer) in Coronation Street.

Grace, as fans will know, threatened to take daughter Glory away from the eponymous cobbled street several months ago unless Aggie and Ed paid her off.

Desperate to keep granddaughter Glory safe and in their lives, Ed and Aggie agreed to her demands, and thus Grace left the street with the money.

Michael, however, has no idea of the real reason why she departed, and earlier this week, viewers saw him hopeful that she would return for their daughter’s upcoming birthday party.

He ultimately gets his wish, as Grace arrives back in Weatherfield next week, much to the dismay of Aggie and Ed, who thought they’d seen the last of her.

And it’s not long before Grace is up to her old tricks once more.

Left with little choice, Aggie and Ed decide to tell Michael the truth about why Grace left in the first place so that he can see why she is not to be trusted.

‘She blackmailed us into giving her 20 grand to leave Glory’, Ed reveals, leaving Michael stunned.

But there’s more heartache to come, as he confirms that Glory is only back in town to get her hands on some more cash.

‘The reason she’s come back is not because she wants to see her daughter,’ he adds, ‘but because she wants more money!

Ed explains to Michael that Grace was threatening to tell him all about what they did if they refused to pay up.

Michael is speechless, as he attempts to process the information. The question is: will he confront Grace with his discovery?

If so, what will she have to say?

What’s more, how will Michael react to his mum and dad following their confession?
