Maya Jama risks breaking Love Island rule as new host – admitting she wants to 'get involved' in stars' relationships | The Sun

MAYA Jama is at risk of breaking a key Love Island rule after taking up her position as host.

The 28-year-old has admitted she'll want to “give all the advice” to contestants about their relationships.

Love Island presenters are supposed to remain neutral when they enter the villa to avoid any outsider influence.

But Maya has confessed she'll struggle not to get involved.

“I’ve been a fan of the show pretty much since it started,” Maya told Vogue ahead of tonight's launch show.

“I know everything about it.

“My role is to deliver information and facts but, because I love it so much, I just want to be their best mate and be like, ‘Are you sure you really like that guy?’

“I’ll be as involved as I can.”

Maya is gearing up for her debut on the hit ITV2 show tonight for its second winter series.

Hours before showtime she posted on Instagram from her dressing room wearing a red hot outfit.

Ten sexy singles are set to enter the South African villa.

Five boys and five girls will take their place in tonight's launch show, with one bombshell already set to go "all the way."

Earlier this week Love Island bosses revealed a huge shake-up ahead of the show's winter launch with a bombshell twist.

For the first time ever viewers will get to vote for the first bombshell to enter the villa.

Law firm administrator Ellie Spence, 25, and semi-pro footballer Tom Clare, 23, are the first pair up for the vote – and they're desperate to join the main line-up in the South Africa villa.

Tune in to ITV2 at 9pm for the opening episode of Love Island.
