Love Island’s Tasha accuses Jay of ‘putting a wedge’ between her and Andrew after date

June 16, 2022

Love Island's Tasha Ghouri accuses new bombshell Jay Younger of "trying to put a wedge" between her and Andrew Le Page on Thursday's episode.

Only recently, Tasha, 23, who is coupled up with Andrew, 27, enjoyed a flirty date with Jay, 28, where the latter admitted it was the "best date" he'd had and he was "surprised" by her.

In upcoming scenes, Jay, who previously declared "game on", says to Andrew: "I won't lie man, I think you and Tasha might not be as strong as you think. I feel like maybe you’re more emotionally invested than she is."

Later in the episode, Andrew speaks to Tasha and says: "At the end of the day a new guy has come in and he’s said his point of view, he wasn’t sure why one minute you were wanting it and the next minute not wanting it.

"Everyone’s allowed their opinion, for me I don’t really care, the only opinion for me is mine and yours and I am happy."

Speaking in the Beach Hut, Tasha admits: "I think Jay is trying to put a wedge in between me and Andrew and I don’t appreciate it."

And later on, Tasha is keen to address Jay as she pulls him for a chat…

It comes after Jay told Tasha during their date on Wednesday: "I won't lie to you, I feel like you could be happier in here. If you think I'm wasting my time talking to you, let me know now… and if not, then I'll continue to get to know you."

With Tasha admitting: "You're not wasting my time!"

Tasha also admitted that Jay made her nervous and that her heart was "racing" after the date.

Earlier this week, prior to his entrance, Investment Analyst Jay, from Edinburgh, said: "I'm definitely not afraid of breaking up a couple. Davide might be the Italian snack but I'm definitely the Italian main course."

Talking ahead of joining the show, Jay said of why he's a "catch": "I think I genuinely have what most females want.

"I’ve got a good job, I think I am a good looking lad and I have a lot of fun so I feel like I could add a lot of value to their lives if they add a lot of value to mine."
