Love Island viewers convinced Lana and Ron have ‘no chemistry’ after night in the hideaway

February 21, 2023

Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins were over the moon to be voted by their fellow Love Island contestants to be the lucky couple to go into the infamous hideaway.

The two flames, who have been dating on-and-off since the beginning of this season, have had an undeniably turbulent time in the villa, but things appear to be going well for the pair at the moment.

With this in mind, Lana and Ron were chosen to go into the hideaway on Monday night's episode for an evening of romance.

Heading into the private area of the villa, the pair walked in to find a series of kinky accessories and outfits for Ron and Lana to experiment with.

They appeared to keep things PG however, and just enjoyed some alone time and cuddled in bed together while whispering sweet nothings in each other's ears.

Upon returning to the villa, Ron insisted that the pair had simply “chatted for hours”, as Lana told the girls that he was giving her “boyfriend vibes”.

In light of them behaving themselves, Love Island viewers took to Twitter to share their disappointment.

“Ron and Lana went into the hideaway to be 'natural'. No sexy time at all. They are foolish,” quipped one person.

Meanwhile, someone else suggested the pair had no chemistry.

They said: “Lana & Ron in the hideaway with 0 sexual chemistry, Olivia b*tching as usual, who will Tanya pick (clearly Shaq who will fold in 00000.1 seconds) & a pointless party, might switch off tonight u kno, on the other hand Kai is growing on me low-key”.

“They didn’t even show 5 mins of Ron and Lana’s hideaway loool dry couple,” added someone else.

While Ron had his head turned by some of the show’s bombshells in recent weeks, the financial advisor stayed faithful to blonde beauty Lana during Casa Amor – much to people’s surprise. Lana also stuck to her guns and stayed loyal to Ron, despite sharing a steamy kiss with newcomer Kain during a challenge.

As Ron came back from Casa Amor with a clear conscience, the likes of Tom Clare and Will Young had some making up to do to their significant others after straying from them.

Tom got to know new bombshell Lydia Karakyriakou during Casa Amor, away from Samie Elisih's eyes, as he kissed Lydia and shared a bed with her.

But, in a bid to win Samie over, Tom penned her a sweet poem.

“These words, they come from the heart and it's taken me a lot to write this. I've never done this for a girl, any girl in my life,” he told Samie before reading it to her.

Tom’s bravery went on to pay off with Samie confirming that he was “out of the dog house”.

Meanwhile, Will went above and beyond for Jessie Wynter as he took the Australian bombshell up to the villa terrace to find the rest of the Islanders standing in a line by the pool.

They then proceeded to read out things Will said that he loves about her, with him going on to declare his love for Jessie afterwards.

It came after Jessie took a leaf out of Amy Hart’s book and declared to Will that she was going to tell him he loved her before finding out about his Casa Amor antics.
