Love Island's Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand have been dumped from the villa.

In Wednesday's episode (March 1), the islanders headed to the Beach Club for a lavish party but were interrupted by host Maya Jama who came with news surrounding the most recent public vote.

The presenter, 28, revealed Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda were the couple who received the fewest votes and were therefore being dumped immediately.

But in a brutal twist, the presenter revealed there would be a shock second dumping and who goes was up to Olivia and Maxwell.

The dumped pair had to choose one boy and one girl from the three remaining vulnerable couples; Shaq and Tanya, Keanan and Claudia and Casey and Rosie.

Maya told them: “You must now choose one girl and one boy from the remaining vulnerable couples to be dumped from the Island tonight. Please go and take a seat to discuss your reasons and to make a decision.”

Returning to the islanders after coming to a decision, Olivia explained: This has been a really difficult decision for both of us. Do you keep a couple in that could potentially rebuild a flame?

"Do you keep a boy and a girl that haven't had enough time here? It’s been very difficult to make this decision, there’s so many options we could have gone for.”

They confirmed the two islanders leaving would be newly formed couple Keanan and Claudia.

    "I'm so sorry," mouthed Olivia.

Claudia had a simple two-word response for her fellow islander as she insisted: "I'm ready."

Despite their recent troubles, Claudia pulled Casey in for a hug and told him: "I'm ready, honestly."

Speaking to the camera after being dumped, the blonde bombshell said: "So I didn't find love but there's someone out there for me on the outside and I can't wait to go out and find him!

"I've made friends for life. I've had ups and downs. The things that have happened in there have made me a lot stronger as a person. I will not look back anything and I've had the best experience ever so I'm forever grateful for that."
