Love Island fans spot Luca Bish ‘fuming’ as he and Gemma Owen finish second in final

Love Island fans noticed Luca Bish looking "fuming" as he came second in the show's finale alongside Gemma Owen.

The couple, who have been together for most of this year's series, were beaten to first place by Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu – and fans soon spotted him appearing less than happy.

Fans were quick to point out Luca's reaction, as one quipped: "Luca is going to ask everyone in the country who they voted for. He’s fuming."

Another wrote: "The mask slipped from Luca for a split second, it was little but I caught it. He is fuming!!!"

Several fans claimed Luca had looked confident he and Gemma would win the show.

"Just feel that Luca will be sat there fuming like ‘so who didn’t vote for us?’" joked another fan.

It's not the first time Luca has been visibly annoyed with Ekin-Su and Davide, and the fishmonger hasn't shied away from making digs at the pair.

In last Friday's episode, which saw the islanders vote for the least compatible couple, he told Gemma: "I love them both as people, but as a couple, I just don't buy it."

Luca and Gemma have been coupled up for the majority of Love Island, but 19 year old Gemma started her journey with Liam Llewellyn, who quit the show after just a few days.

She later coupled up with Davide Sanclimenti, sparking viewers to complain about the eight-year age gap between the couple.

Luca eventually made his move, however, and stole the brunette beauty off Davide – and the rest was history.

Stood around the firepit at the time, Luca shared: “I would like to couple up with this girl because ever since she walked through that door she caught my eye.

“She’s a right sort, getting to know her throughout the week I’ve noticed she’s got the personality to go with that.

“I like that she can look after herself and she don’t give too much away and I look forward to seeing how things progress.”

Several weeks on, things have certainly progressed between the pair, with both Gemma and Luca having recently dropped the ‘L’ word to each other.

While things are going well with the pair, there have been some bumps along the road as well: one being Luca’s reaction to clips surfacing of Gemma chatting to Casa Amor bombshell Billy Brown.

The two shared an undeniably flirty chat in the kitchen during his time in the villa, which Luca wasn’t impressed with seeing on the show’s infamous Movie Night after Gemma denied anything between them.

The pair also came to blows after Gemma cheekily licked some of the other boys, including Adam Collard, during a raunchy challenge that saw the girls dressed up as air hostesses.
