Love Island fans point out ‘awkward’ filming blunder during Antigoni’s triple dates

June 22, 2022

Love Island fans pointed out an "awkward" filming blunder during Wednesday's episode as new bombshell Antigoni Buxton went on a triple date with Dami Hope, Davide Sanclimenti and Jay Younger.

During the latest instalment, Antigoni, whose mother is celebrity chef Tonia Buxton, made her entrance in the villa where she was then tasked with picking three male Islanders for a date.

After making her choice, the foursome headed out for a romantic picnic date where Antigoni got to sit with each boy separately while the other male Islanders had to sit watching them in the background.

And to make things even more awkward, the boys not on the date could overhear the duo enjoying the picnic where they decided to jump in at separate times, giving their opinions.

Taking to Twitter, viewers pointed out how "awkward" it would be to be sat watching the date and be watched on your date as they questioned why the boys weren't brought out separately.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Why are they just sat there watching is it not awkward?#LoveIsland."

A different account put: "Why don't they just go one by one for the dates, here they are sitting in the background watching each date it's awkward #LoveIsland."

Another follower wrote: "Lmao that’s too awkward. The other guys just having to sit there watching Antigone’s date like #loveisland."

A different viewer put: "The boys watching the date is so awkward #LoveIsland."
