Love Island fans have branded Tom Clare "the biggest snake" after he warned Lana Jenkins off Ron Hall.

Following a brutal double dumping that saw Spencer Wilks and Aaron Waters booted out of the villa for good, it was the girls' turn to choose which boy they wanted to couple up with.

All eyes were on Lana as the 25-year-old makeup artist has been caught in a love triangle with original partner Ron and new bombshell Casey O'Gorman since he arrived.

It was unclear who Lana was swaying towards, but fans believe the chat she had with Tom is what influenced her to pick Casey.

Admitting he'd seen Ron be "slimey" following his continuous flirting with Samie, Tom urged Lana that Casey would be the better person for her to couple up with.

Taking to social media after the episode, fans didn't hold back when it came to their feelings towards Tom.

"Wow Tom! you are snitching on Ron. Tom you are a total snake also and now look at you lol," penned one user.

A second added: "Oh yes Tom. actually it is inherently way more sly to snake your friends lmao, also she is the disloyal one, not in a trillion years does ron pick another lass."

"No no no no Tom is actually a snake, what an idiot we still don’t like you. F***ing sell out. #LoveIsland," fumed another person.

Someone else stated: "Tom is the biggest snake in there #LoveIsland."

Following the explosive recoupling, Ron pulls Lana for a chat in Monday's episode and the two finally sit down and talk.

Lana says: “I don’t like upsetting you," to which Ron replies: “I know you don’t.”

"I was thinking can I forgive because after I’ve had so many days upset about something," Lana continues.

Ron admits: "I feel like him being here for four days has superseded how we felt.," before Lana asks him: “Did you deserve for me to couple up with you?”
