Lorraine Kelly says she’s ‘really not happy’ during chat with Holby City star

November 2, 2021

Lorraine Kelly told Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge she was "really not happy" during a chat about Holby City.

The 61-year-old had been busy chatting to the actor – who plays Josh Hudson on the show – about a difficult situation that his character is about play out on the programme in the coming weeks.

Suddenly, the host was overwhelmed with sadness as she was reminded that BBC One medical show would be ending next year.

As the chat was concluding, she told Trieve: "I'm not happy, I’m not happy at all.

"Because it's going to be the end of Holby next year. Me and the Holby fans are not happy."

She added: "But we’ve still got a long, long time to go and we’ve still got you."

Meanwhile over on Good Morning Britain Lorraine brought the house down with a cheeky quip.

On the programme, TV personality Rustie Lee and Dr Hilary had clashed over whether or not it was acceptable to now hug – given the Covid-19 pandemic is not yet over.

TV chef Rustie believed that it was time to start embracing everyone as long as people were "vaccinated" and using "sanitiser".

Whereas Dr Hilary shared a slightly differing view and argued that "the pandemic was not over".

After the dispute became heated, Susanna attempted to move on by introducing Lorraine to the conversation.

However the proud Scot weighed in on the situation, flooring everyone in the process.

Lorraine laughed: "I'm Scottish. We go all stiff when anybody tries to hug us."

She added: "Not in a good way."

Stunned hosts Richard and Susanna fell about the place laughing at her hilarious comment.

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
