Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford in tears after being reunited with mum in care homeMarch 9, 2021
Ruth Langsford seemed emotional on Tuesday's show as she let Loose Women fans know she'd been able to visit her mum in her care home on Monday.
The 60-year-old previously became tearful after she'd explained her deep pain of not being able to visit her poorly mum who was confined to residential living throughout lockdown.
With the vaccination in circulation, care homes are now giving families an option to designate one member to act as the "nominated person" to see their loved ones once per week.
Updating on the situation, Ruth said: "I was allowed into her home and into her residential home yesterday.
"It was very emotional we had a little cry of course."
