Loose Women’s Charlene White talks Brenda Edwards Strictly Come Dancing rumours

Charlene White has revealed she'd love to see her Loose Women co-star Brenda Edwards take part in this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The presenter, 43, attended the National Reality TV Awards last month where the ITV daytime show won the gong for Most Inspiring TV Show.

Charlene and Linda Robson were on hand to pick up the award on behalf of their team.

Brenda Edwards was missing from the red carpet and is rumoured to be part of the Strictly 2023 line-up.

Addressing the rumours, Charlene said: "I cannot confirm nor deny.

"I'd love to see Brenda do Strictly. She's amazing and such an incredible performer.

"She's a great singer but to see her take to the dancefloor and show the rhythm and the moves that woman has will blow everyone away.

"She's one of the best people in my life and if she was to do it, she'd have our backing one hundred per cent. We'd be there in the front room screaming her name.

When asked which professional dancer she thinks Brenda would like, Charlene joked: "Brenda would love a bit of Graziano because Judi [Love] loves a bit of Graziano and Chizzy [Akudolu] loves a bit of Graziano."

Charlene and Brenda's Loose Women co-star Judi partnered Italian professional dancer Graziano Di Prima during the 2021 series.

While Chizzy, who has previously been part of the Loose Women panel, strutted her stuff on Strictly back in 2017.
