Jordan Banjo storms off The Greatest Dancer after lashing out at audienceJanuary 13, 2019
Jordan Banjo was left furious tonight on The Greatest Dancer and lost his cool with the audience after they failed to vote a dance act through to the next round.
This evening, the host was fuming when performer Mindtrick failed to get through to the next room.
In the BBC dance show, performers dance behind a mirror in a studio and the audience vote on whether they like them or not. They need to receive at least 75% in order for the mirror to open and for them to go through to the next round.
After he failed to make it through, a few boos were heard in the audience, prompting Jordan to hit out.
He said: "Guys, there’s no point shouting ‘bring him back’ because it’s the audience who has all the power.
"It’s completely up to you and you didn’t vote."
Jordan then stormed off the stage in anger.
Mindtrick was upset after his act was over and that he didn’t get through to the next round.
"I do feel like I’ve missed a good opportunity," he said. "The mirror opening would have been amazing."
Jordan later tweeted tonight: "I can’t lie, I’m still stressed about Mindtrick not going through.
"Bro you were dope, still gutted, but that’s the point of the show, up to the audience, can’t complain when it’s up to you to vote #GreatestDancer #TGD."
*The Greatest Dancer airs Saturdays at 8pm on BBC One
