Jennifer Aniston says 'science and miracles' could help her have children despite being single at 49

December 7, 2018

The single star revealed in a new interview with ELLE magazine that she's not going to let her age get in the way of her having a family.

She said: "Who knows what the future holds in terms of a child and a partnership – how that child comes in…or doesn’t?

"And now with science and miracles, we can do things at different times than we used to be able to."

The actress also touched upon her marriages to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux.

She was married to Brad from 2000 to 2005, and Justin from 2015 to 2017.

Jen said: "'My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in [my] personal opinion.

"And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn’t exist within that arrangement anymore."

During the chat, Aniston also explained why she doesn't use social media.

She said: "The one thing I have is maintaining this little circle of sanctity that’s my own.

"If I’m sitting here posting something about my dogs or I’m Boomeranging my coffee mug in the morning, that’s just giving away one more piece of something that is mine."

Jen recently revealed that her mum warned her not to go out WITHOUT make-up when she was just 13 years old.

Speaking on Lorraine, she explained: "My mum was consumed and concerned with her physical appearance.

"Her parents were basically non-existent and she was one of five sisters – she had this beauty so that's how she was able to go out and make a living, with modelling.

"It wasn't her fault, it's just the things she would teach me…

"I didn't have what she had necessarily.

"And it didn't instil a lot of security about how I felt about my physical appearance."
