Inside Strictly pro Oti Mabuse's home she shares with husband Marius Lepure – and the garden's hugeOctober 31, 2020
STRICTLY pro Oti Mabuse's house has plenty of space to practice her impressive dance moves alongside husband Marius Lepure.
The professional dancer lives in a luxury London home which became the perfect stage for her to host free dance classes with Marius – also a dancer – during lockdown.
Oti, 30, has kept many of the home's traditional features, including a stunning fireplace, but renovated them to give her house a modern chic vibe.
The dancing couple has opted for polished floorboards in the living room, which are great to slide around, busting a dance move.
Light grey walls created a cool but cosy vibe which the couple have coordinated with a white shelving unit.
The monochromatic photo frames and flowers match the fireplace and clock above it completes the modern room.
A large purple sofa is a standout in the room which Oti has decorated with purple and red cushions, beside it sits a grey single seated sofa.
Behind the sofa sits a black and white floor lamp, which compliments the couple's dark floor to ceiling curtains.
To ensure she always looks great, Oti also propped up a full length mirror in the lounge room opposite the shelving unit.
They have popped their TV on a dark wooden unit which sits atop a cowhide floor rug.
Another sitting area in the house features packed bookshelves, a cream one seater sofa on coffee coloured carpet.
Four stylish white plastic chairs complete the sitting room which the couple uses to dress up in fun character such as, Shrek, which they did for their series of children's dance classes.
The kitchen is a minimalist's dream, with sleek white cabinets and a small kitchen table with matching wooden white chairs.
A cute painting of a donkey sits above the table.
The kitchen leads onto an adorable balcony packed with green plants.
Oti and Marius also have a huge backyard where they play cricket in front of a granny flat with its own substantial decking.
Born in South Africa, Oti rose to fame on BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing and won the competition with Kelvin Fletcher in 2019.
This year she's been paired with comedian Bill Bailey.
The comedian has said he needs a partner "who doesn’t pull any punches", so we can only assume Oti is putting him through his paces.
Oti studied civil engineering at university before embarking on a career in professional dancing, following in the footsteps of her sister Motsi – nine years her senior – who is a professional ballroom dancer.
Since the start of her career, Oti has earned various awards including first place in the German Championship Freestyle Latin competition.
She is also a judge on the BBC talent show The Greatest Dancer and is joined on the panel by Cheryl, Matthew Morrison and Todrick Hall.
Off the back of Strictly, she and dancer Ian Waite announced a new 60-date tour called An Audience With Ian Waite And Oti Mabuse: Rhythm Of The Night, which kicked off in March 2018.
What's more, the professional dancer has appearanced on Channel 4's Celebrity Googlebox alongside her lookalike siblings.
