BRIDGERTON actress Ruby Barker has let fans into her colourful home, with a drum kit, lava lamp and art all over the walls.

The actress, 24, has been catapulted into the spotlight playing Marina Thompson on the hit Netflix series, which was released on December 25.

And since her debut on the streaming service, the Cobra star has given her fans a glimpse of her colourful abode on Instagram.

The TV star welcomed her 56,300 followers into her vibrant living room as she practised some yoga in a black sports bra and joggers.

While Ruby sat on her cobalt blue yoga mat, she was surrounded by a wash of colour with her abstract paintings on the wall.

The actress, who has also appeared in Doctors and Wolfblood, showcased her penchant for percussion with her drum kit directly behind her.

The Netflix star added an extra splash of colour with bold mixed print rug and a leather patchwork footstool.

In another shot, she showed a hint of her kitchen, which featured a breakfast bar, two barstools that complemented the grey cabinetry.

On Bridgeton, Ruby's character Mariana was sent from the country to live with her distant cousins the Featheringtons to help her enter society.

However, Mariana's arrival into London society was far from smooth after she quickly learned she had fallen pregnant with soldier George Crane, who was now in Spain fighting.

After a failed attempt to run away with Colin Bridgeton, Mariana learned of George's untimely death and soon agreed to give her hand to George's brother Sir Phillip Crane.

Meanwhile, viewers were given a potential season two spoiler in the show finale.

The Regency-era drama has taken Netflix by storm and reportedly achieved record ratings.

The steamy series, about wealth, lust and betrayal in London in the early 1800s, centres on the posh Bridgerton and Featherington families.

Showrunner Chris Van Dusen appeared to confirm any second instalment would focus more on Jonathan Bailey's character during an interview with

He told the website: "I think we've done some work in season 1 to set up other characters. We really dig into Anthony's love story.

"We're really exploring Benedict as well, and Collin, and Eloise's relationship. I think it's a deep well of story for us to explore."
