I'm A Celeb's Shane Richie and AJ Pritchard clash as tempers flare in the camp's first bust upNovember 23, 2020
I'M A Celebrity's AJ Pritchard lost his rag and told Shane Richie off for sleeping in and forgetting to wash up tonight.
The former Strictly professional dancer previously told The Sun that "if someone is lazy or damn right rude" in camp it will "really tick me off".
And AJ's patience was put to the test tonight when he couldn't boil water because the pots and pans hadn’t been cleaned.
AJ, 26, walked over to EastEnders legend Shane, 56, and asked him to clean the pots and pans.
"I need hot water, I left them to soak last night, all ready to be cleaned but I need hot water," Shane argued back.
"But you’ve left them in the pan that does the hot water," AJ fumed.
"Left what in the pan?” Shane asked.
AJ replied "The big pan that we put the hot water in."
Shane cast a glance at Vernon Kay as AJ walked away and said: "This ain’t working for me, the waiting for someone to do that…"
Talking about Shane in the Telegraph, AJ said: "His response was I need boiling water to do the washing up, well we need pots and pans to do the boiling water."
Shane complained to Victoria Derbyshire later on: "This is where people get p***y with each other."
Talking in the Telegraph, AJ said: "I like my job because it’s like ‘gentle persuasion’ or a nudge to some people to maybe say ‘here’s the washing up, it needs to be done’."#
It looks like tempers are boiling over in camp for the first time just a day after the new pecking order was announced with Jordan North taking charge of the camp with Victoria as his deputy.
Viewers rushed to Twitter to discuss the clash.
"Genuinely think Shane’s just p***ed off he didn’t get camp leader," one tweeted.
"Shane showing his true colours, b****ing already do you think it might be because Jordan camp leader lol," another added.
A third wrote: "In Shane’s defence, AJ did nip at him first thing in the morning whilst Shane is waking up to do dishes then Shane couldn’t as he needs hot water…."
