I'm A Celebrity's Holly Willoughby has a secret technique for dealing with Bushtucker Trials
December 3, 2018It’s no secret that Holly Willoughby has been struggling to deal with some of the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Bushtucker Trials.
Whether it’s been covering her face when the jungle critters are near or gagging while watching the eating trials, Holly has been reacting like all of us at home.
But her This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield revealed that Holly actually has a secret technique to cope with the awful jungle smells.
While discussing I’m A Celebrity on This Morning, Schofe told former winner Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo that Holly has actually been dousing her hands in peppermint oil.
Rochelle Humes, who is standing in for Holly while she’s presenting in the jungle, was impressed with her level of preparation adding: “Wow, that is preparation!”
Holly was seen putting her technique in to action when Fleur East took part in the Bushtucker Trial, Gore Seasons Pizza.
It involved the former X Factor singer laying on a giant pizza while she was covered in cockroaches, meal worms, rotten tomatoes and offal.
While Fleur and her jungle campmates are all proving themselves in the jungle, Fleur’s former X Factor mentor Simon Cowell took the opportunity in the weekend’s X Factor episode to make a comment about her stint on the show, much to the annoyance of Fleur’s fans.
Following his singer Scarlett Lee’s performance in the final, Simon said: “I don’t want you in the jungle in two years drinking worm juice. I want you either on Broadway, West End, [or] selling records.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight (December 3) at 9pm on ITV.
