‘Home Alone’ – With AI: Macaulay Culkin’s Not Afraid Anymore, Thanks To Google Assistant

Yes, you CAN go home again. Twenty-eight years after Macaulay Culkin introduced us to the character of Kevin McCallister in the Home Alone films, Culkin has returned to reprise his role from the box office blockbusters in an ad for Google Assistant.

Home Alone Again with the Google Assistant features Culkin as a modern-day Kevin, who once again finds he has the house to himself, but this time with the aid of Google Assistant. In the clip, recreating several of the film’s classic scenes, Kevin adds aftershave to his shopping list and sets an “Operation Kevin” custom routine to lock his door, turn on the lights and make sure the Wet Bandits don’t stand a chance.

Those with a Google Assistant of their own, can say “Hey Google…” and hear some of the most memorable quotes from the film.

A few examples — ask “How much do I owe you?” and your reply will be “Keep the change, you filthy animal.”

“Did I forget something?” and the famous “KEVINNNNNNNNNN” scream will answer back.

Home Alone is available on Digital now at Google Play.
