Hollyoaks' Sophie Porley forced to QUIT Instagram after anti-vaxx trolls tell her she’ll ‘never have kids’ after jabJuly 16, 2021
EX Hollyoaks star Sophie Porley has quit Twitter after cruel anti-vaxxers sent her vile comments after she got the coronavirus vaccine.
The actress had the Pfizer jab yesterday after her first appointment had to be axed because she caught Covid.
She pleaded with anti-vaxxers not to send her horrible messages – but they ignored her.
Speaking on her Instagram Story, she said: "I got my first Covid
"I was supposed to get my first vaccine the week I caught Covid, so
obviously I couldn't get it.
"Then I re-booked it for last week and my appointment got cancelled,
which I've not heard of.
"But I got a text saying it was cancelled, so I kind of was taking it as
a sign and it made me a bit nervous to get it.
"It's quite scary, I had lots of mixed thoughts and then it felt weird
airing those as well.
"I don't want to get into conspiracy theories and be an anti-vaxxer but
it's something new and … I don't know if anyone else felt this way.
"But anyway, it's done now.
"Please don't write to me if you're an anti-vaxxer and tell me I'm going
to die or horrible things because I don't need to hear that right now
However, she was soon inundated with a number of messages by trolls
claiming she is "never going to have babies" after having the vaccine.
It prompted her to sign out to avoid the abuse.
Please don't write to me if you're an anti-vaxxer
She wrote: "Coming off here for the night now.
"I did ask people not to send me messages about all the horrible things
that will happen to me after getting the vaccine.
"And yet my inbox still has messages telling me I'm never going to have
babies, I will never have a period again etc etc.
"I've had the vaccine now, so these messages are super unhelpful."
Earlier this month, Sophie – who portrayed Ellie Nightingale in the
Channel 4 soap – admitted she was "pretty much" back to herself after
testing positive for the virus.
Asked how she is feeling after Covid, she wrote on Instagram:
"I've been feeling good thank you.
"I just rushed back to normal life and I probably did a little too much
too quickly as I did feel really tired for a few weeks. But I'm pretty
much back to myself now. The tiredness was literally the worst part for
me, I'm someone who usually has lots of energy."
