Heartbreaking exit storyline revealed for Sid in Hollyoaks?

September 29, 2022

Hollyoaks could be set to lose one of its finest in the coming weeks as Sid Sumner (Billy Price) returns with some pretty big news.

The teen made a huge decision last week to leave the eponymous village after struggling to reconcile his past with present as a result of the ordeal he suffered at the hands of Victor Brothers (Benjamin O’Mahoney).

Lizzie Chen-Williams (Lily Best) struggled to comprehend why her boyfriend departed in such an abrupt way, but she’s finally get the answers she’s been craving next week when Sid stages a comeback.

With Lizzie demanding an explanation, Sid is left with little choice but to fill her in on what he went through during the previous week, which ultimately leaves her stunned.

But his explanation seemingly puts Dave (Dominic Power) in the firing line, and thus Lizzie wastes little time in issuing her dad with a harsh warning, making it clear that he’s not welcome to meddle in her personal life.

Sid’s attention, meanwhile, is firmly on his family as he drops some pretty big news.

The question is: just what is it?

Is Sid perhaps set to leave the village in search of a fresh start elsewhere? Say it ain’t so!

We’d miss him beyond words to be honest.

Whatever this news may be, his family struggle to get their heads around it, with some taking it particularly hard.

Sid, who made his debut in May 2019, has been at the centre of some of Hollyoaks’ most incredible storylines over the past three years, with the County Lines drug story a particular noteworthy one.

One to watch: Wednesday October 5 at 7pm on E4.
