Gwyneth Paltrow Wants an Explainer for the Jordyn Woods Cheating Scandal: 'What's Going On?'

Gwyneth Paltrow is searching for a quick play-by-play of the cheating scandal surrounding Jordyn Woods and the KarJenner clan.

The 46-year-old actress spotted a meme referencing the drama, which read, “Jordyn Woods is best friends with the worlds youngest billionaire who gifts her with cars, diamonds, and lavish vacations. You’re telling me there’s a chance she gave that all up for a guy who rides bench for the Cars and has a community d—? THE HORROR.”

In a screenshot by Comments by Celebs, Paltrow is seen commenting, “Can someone explain what’s going on? I have never heard of half of these people, someone give me context. Please. It seems serious.”

For those that don’t know, Woods — Kylie Jenner‘s best friend — was allegedly having a relationship with Tristan Thompson, the boyfriend of Kylie’s older sister Khloé Kardashian.

The news comes after Thompson’s previous cheating scandal when he was spotted with two women at a lounge while Khloé, 34, was expecting their daughter, True.

Multiple sources previously confirmed to PEOPLE the KarJenners were “blindsided” by reports Woods, 21, was seen cozying up to Thompson over the weekend.

“When they first started hearing on Monday that Tristan made out with Jordyn, no one really believed it,” said one source. “That Tristan would be inappropriate, yes everyone knows that he can’t behave, but that Jordyn would make out with him, it first seemed like a made up rumor.”

“It wasn’t anything they wanted to drop,” the source added. “So several family members reached out to people they believed had been at the party. And they were told it was true.”

On Tuesday, TMZ and Hollywood Unlocked reported that Kardashian and the Cleveland Cavaliers player, 27, split after he was unfaithful with Woods, who was also a member of the Good American squad, representing Kardashian’s clothing brand.

And while the alleged affair feels like a deep betrayal for Khloé, the rest of the family is hurting as well.

“It’s all a mess now. Everyone considered Jordyn family. She was like a family member and always invited everywhere,” the source said. “The family helped her and wanted her to be able to have a business venture too.”

Woods’ future relationship with the family — especially Kylie — remains uncertain.

“Jordyn has been like Kylie’s sister. They were inseparable, and always together,” the source said. “Jordyn often helped Kylie with Stormi. Kylie was always so excited to have Jordyn around. It seems Kylie isn’t sure what to do, but it seems impossible for her to keep Jordyn around.”
