First look at C4's raunchy 'new Love Island' dating show The Love Trap with snogging, dry humping and Netflix star

CHANNEL 4's raunchy "new Love Island" dating show The Love Trap is filled with snogging, dry humping, and a very familiar face.

Too Hot To Handle's David Birtwistle is looking for love again after failing to find a woman on the first series of the Netflix programme last year.

But the new dating series, presented by Joel Dommett, comes with a bit of a twist.

Lucky David will live in a mansion full of beautiful girls as they try to impress him, however not all of them are genuinely looking for love.

While half the girls are wanting to settle down, the other half already have what they're looking for and are in it for the money.

The personal trainer will get to know the girls and at the end of each episode, he'll have to pick which girl he thinks is lying.

In the show's promo video, a confused David says to one of them: "Are you just playing a great game? What are you hiding?"

The next shot sees Joel explain to David what happens next.

He tells him: "Whoever you pick won't be going through the door… they'll be going through the floor."

Despite getting tricked by half of the women, David wants to settle down.

He confesses: "Hopefully by the end of this I will have found The One."

David shot to fame in lockdown last year when the first season of Too Hot To Handle aired on Netflix.

The 31-years-old from London thinks that he's a good judge of character and wants someone who has got good banter.

Speaking about his dream partner, he said: "She has to be outgoing, and fun, and bubbly, I want a best friend as well as a partner.

"And someone who's driven, that they want to achieve in their life, and they want to go places.”

The Love Trap begins on Channel 4 and All 4 on Wednesday 20th October at 10pm
