ESCAPE to the Chateau's Dick and Angel have showcased their new stunning extension in their French chateau in the final episode this week.

The Channel 4 series has been on our screens since 2016 but will be coming to an end this month.

The TV stars have now shared the latest transformation at their 45-bedroom chateau.

The loveable pair unveiled a jaw-dropping extension in the form of a "winter garden'" to their followers on social media.

Taking to Instagram, the couple shared a few photos to showcase their stunning remodelled home.

The extension features ornate floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking their scenic lake, with black and white tiles and some statement furniture to brighten up the space.

Along with the snaps, they captioned the post: "Can you believe we are only one episode away from the finale!? Before we all get fully festive with the Christmas Special…what did you think of last week’s episode? Angel finally gets the extension she joked about all those years ago."

The pair recently appeared on Monday's Lorraine, as Angel and husband Dick Strawbridge explained how ending the show has been incredibly emotional for them.

Angel said: "We literally finished filming a week ago, and it was really emotional.

"In fact, we were all, the week beforehand people were saying I've got my outfit, we can't wait.
