Emmerdale’s Charity forced to address ‘unfinished business’ with MackMay 13, 2023
Emmerdale: Nate and Mack have conversation about the baby
Emmerdale’s Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) discovered the truth about Mack Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) affair with teenager Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) on Thursday’s dramatic instalment of the serial drama.
Mack and Chloe were hoping to take their secret to the grave with them but Charity’s suspicions eventually lead her to the truth.
Charity struggled to contain her heartache when she worked out Mack was the father of Chloe’s newborn son Reuben.
She decided to confront Mack about it and scolded him over his adultery and deceit.
He insisted he loved Charity and wanted to be with her but Charity decided it was time to kick him out of her house.
Charity paid Chloe and baby Reuben a visit at the hospital to square up to the new mother about her lies.
While Chloe seemed apologetic at first, she made matters worse by telling Charity she was going to move to Scotland with Reuben and Mack.
Is there any way back for Charity and Mackenzie, or will she never be able to forgive him for his ultimate betrayal?

Charity actor Emma recently opened up to Express.co.uk and other media about a storyline between the three characters which is set to unravel later this year.
She said: “We’ve been told towards the end of the year there is something we are not allowed to know… But there’s another unfinished business.
“But the three of us are not being told anything at the moment.”
Reflecting on Charity’s heartache, Emma shared: “I think she has such issues with trust with what she’s been through as a teenager.
“And again, I think that’s going to be even more exacerbated by the fact that she took Chloe under her wing and she can almost see a reflection of herself in this young teenage girl being pregnant.”
Will Chloe and Charity find a way to recover their relationship, or has the teenager ruined it completely?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
