Emmerdale spoilers: Nate struggles with booze as he misses daughter Frankie

NATE Robinson has been feeling lost since Tracy Metcalfe left the Dales with their daughter Frankie.

Next week in Emmerdale, he turns to alcohol to cope with his loss.

Things could get out of hand for Nate (portrayed by Jurell Carter) as he struggles to stomach Frankie and Tracy's (Amy Walsh) absence.

In upcoming scenes of the ITV soap, the farmer is gutted as he watches old videos of his daughter and is devastated to be missing out on time with Frankie.

Nate tries to rope Ryan Stocks (James Moore) into a pub session in a bid to distract himself from missing Frankie.

Could he opt for the same coping mechanism as his father, Cain Dingle?

ITV viewers may remember that Tracy left the village for a new and promising job in Nottingham, at the beginning of the year.

Prior to her exit, Tracy found out Nate had cheated on her with Fiona – who just happened to be her sister Vanessa's girlfriend.

Tracy was unable to forgive Nate and kicked him out of her home.

Vanessa was the first to stop him from seeing Frankie but she was eventually called out and had no other choice but to let him spend time with his daughter.

When Tracy first revealed she had a job offer away from the eponymous village, Nate tried to stop her before changing his mind and letting her and Frankie go.

Off-screen, however, things were far more drama-free.

Actress Amy Walsh temporarily left the ITV show on maternity leave.

She gave birth to her first child with BBC One soap star Toby-Alexander Smith over the festive period.

The couple share a daughter named Bonnie Mae.

Amy is expected to return to Emmerdale after her maternity leave and she will most probably be in the company of her on-screen daughter.

But there are also rumours she will be embarking in a relationship with a new love interest – portrayed by none other than her real-life partner Toby (who recently left EastEnders after playing evil serial killer Gray Atkins).

In the meantime, how will Nate cope with Frankie's absence?
