Emmerdale spoilers: Al Chapman brutally attacked as he's forced to make horrifying decision about The Woolpack

December 9, 2021

EMMERDALE'S Al Chapman will suffer a brutal attack as he's forced to make horrifying decision about The Woolpack this Christmas.

The scheming businessman – who is played by actor Michael Wildman in the ITV soap – blackmailed his way into investing into the pub for a scam.

Al is pressured by Gavin to get Chas and Marlon to sell The Woolpack next week.

But when a big, muscley man menacingly gets out of Gavin’s car, Al’s heart sinks as he knows what’s coming – a beating.

The following week, Christmas is in full swing in the village but things take a turn for the worse for Al.

As the villagers enjoy Christmas day, there’s a thin dusting of what appears to be snow, but is all as it seems?

Soon we flashback to the hours that preceded this flurry and understand what really happened.

It’s Christmas day, and still reeling from his beating yesterday, Al gets a threatening message from Gavin and is later disturbed to catch Gavin talking to Ellis.

Feeling the pressure, Al gazes back at the Woolpack and comes up with a plan to get out of this nightmare.

Could Al's plan have dangerous consequences for the rest of the village?

Last month, Emmerdale fans were shocked after Al revealed his secret plans for The Woolpack.

He was shown looking through a business prospectus to turn the pub into luxury apartments.

It featured a total transformation, sculptured gardens and crucially – not space for the pub to exist.
