THE search for Caleb Milligan's mystery attacker continues tonight as he remains in a coma.

But one of his loved ones makes a return to Emmerdale after getting wind of his condition.

Caleb Milligan (portrayed by Will Ash) was pushed over Woodland Ridge and left for dead after his secrets unravelled for villagers to see.

After Gabby Thomas' ruined wedding, Caleb continued to make enemies left, right and centre, even within his own long-lost family.

Tension culminated in Caleb being attacked before being found by his half-brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) who called an ambulance for him.

But before long, the police became involved and tried to find out what exactly happened to Caleb.

The authorities worked out a list of suspects from Will Taylor who could have sought revenge on Gabby's behalf through Cain who was furious after Caleb left his wife Moira in financial ruin to Leyla Harding who argued with the schemer prior to his attack.

However, one suspect stood out and it was Mackenzie Boyd who was incandescent with rage when he found out Caleb had slept with his estranged wife Charity Dingle.

Tonight on ITV, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) gets a massive update about Caleb's condition.

She learns he might be brought out of his coma and heads to the hospital.
