Emmerdale: Nicky tells Gabby he loves someone else

Emmerdale has announced Caleb Dingle, or Miligan, (played by William Ash) will be pushed from a cliff in scenes set to air later this week.

Unsurprisingly, there will be a few potential culprits in the mix which will lead to a much-loved “whodunnit”.

Monday’s episode of the ITV soap saw the Dingles taking a vote as to whether Caleb should stay or be forced to leave in a classic family court hearing.

The response from the staple Emmerdale family was mixed, with some wanting to give the manipulative Caleb a second chance and others wanting to see the back of him as soon as possible.

However, viewers think the scenes held a clue about who could be the one to push Caleb off the cliff later.

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) lead a heated debate amongst the Dingles as he argued Caleb should leave.

As Caleb walked in, he tried to argue his own case but insisted he wouldn’t be leaving, no matter what the outcome of the Dingle vote.

“I don’t know how this goes but if I’m found guilty, who pulls the trigger?” he asked.

He continued: “You know, I don’t care about your silly vote, raise your hand, tick a box, it really doesn’t matter to me.”

“You’ve got some front, rocking up here like you’ve done nothing wrong,” Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) complained.

Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) suggested: “Maybe we should listen to what he has to say.”

“I will say this again – this was never about anyone in this room,” Caleb stated, continuing: “I came here for Kim. I wanted to finish her and leave her with nothing, the end.

“All of you, for everything that’s happened, I am sorry, and I’m going nowhere.”

However, fans predicted the person to push Caleb will in fact not be anyone from the court.

While fans were divided over who might be the one to try to kill Caleb, many predicted it would be his won son, Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope).

@GlowstikCosplay penned: “#emmerdale The push will probably be Nicky or Gabby but it would be a little bit funny if its Kyle.” (sic)

“Nicky has lost everyone thanks to his dad. He’s got enough anger to want to push Caleb off a cliff #Emmerdale,” @wavey1068 shared.

@AllThatJazz_i posted: “I’m calling it Nicky will push Caleb next week, it’s the way he treats him #Emmerdale.”

Fans presented all kinds of predictions though, with Twitter user @TwellyWatcher theorising: “A lot of Nate appearances lately – could be be the one to push Caleb? Doubt it but he’s getting wound up a lot about him #Emmerdale.”

@ASuperGav seemed to suggested someone from the Dingle Court would be the culprit, writing: “So Caleb is still hanging around. Deathwish, methinks #Emmerdale.”

@Emmerdale2dae added: “Let’s start with Will and Kim…The duo have been a strong power couple lately, especially when it came to Alex giving Dawn trouble… so could they unite and push Caleb?”

Emmerdale continues on Tuesday at 7.30om on ITV.
