July 11, 2023ONE EastEnders star has landed a huge role in a Netflix film alongside Haley Lu Richardson, star of White Lotus.
Ben Hardy is well known to fans of the long-running BBC soap as Peter Beale.
However, Ben, 32, swapped Walford for Hollywood and his latest project looks to be a corker!
The actor will star in the project alongside a list of star names in the new romance movie, Love At First Sight.
It's is based on the 2011 novel, The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by author Jennifer E. Smith.
The trailer for the project shows two characters, Hadley (Haley Lu Richardson) and Oliver (Ben Hardy) meet in a chance encounter at the airport.

They spark an instant connection before they are both by chance, sat together on the same flight to London.
However, upon landing at Heathrow, Hadley looses Oliver's number and the pair are separated.
Chaos soon ensues as the duo attempt to find each other.
Ben has been cast as Oliver in the new production, which will also include Bridget Jones star Sally Phillips, 53, as well as Jameela Jamil, 37.

The actor will also reunite with Dexter Fletcher, 57, after the pair previously worked together on Bohemian Rhapsody as he stepped in to direct the film after the departure of Bryan Singer, 57.
Ben has previously starred in a string of high-profile projects which include the thriller, 6 Underground on the streaming giant.
He first got his big break when he shot to fame playing Peter Beale in EastEnders from 2013-2015.
But since leaving the soap, he's been involved in major projects such as X-Men: Apocalypse.
Ben also starred in the 2020 comedy Pixie alongside the likes of Olivia Cooke, 29, and Alec Baldwin, 65.
This was after he made an appearance in Call The Midwife as a reporter and also appeared in one episode of Drunk History as King Arthur.
