EastEnders spoilers: Janine flees with daughter as Linda wakes from coma plus Coronation Street & Emmerdale latest | The Sun

EASTENDERS fans left shocked as Janine makes snap decision to flee Walford after Mick receives news that Linda is on the mend.

Janine Butcher was left reeling after Mick Carter received a call from the hospital, informing him that his ex-wife, Linda Carter is on the mend.

After being embroiled in a horror car crash, Janine hauled Linda's unconscious body into the drivers seat.

Things looked dire for Linda, as the family were informed that if she came back around, she might not "be the same Linda."

Janine's lies come crashing down as she learns the swelling on Linda's brain has decreased and she will be waking up from her coma any moment.

In a panic, Janine grabs Scarlett, packs their bags and tells her frightened daughter they have "no choice" but to flee.

    The famed actor has headed to Kent to celebrate his partner’s birthday recently, and his accommodation is truly a sight to behold.

    He has rented a £1,200-a-night wigwam standing 7m tall that boasted panoramic views of the stunning Kent countryside.

    The hotel featured underfloor heating, an outside viewing area to watch goats roaming the nearby fields, and access to a golf buggy to explore the Port Lympne Safari Park and Wild Animal Reserve.

    Corrie fans rage as they claim soap was robbed at Soap Awards

    CORONATION STREET fans have been left complaining that the soap was ‘robbed’ at The British Soap Awards “fixed” following a series of unlikely winners.

    ITV’s Emmerdale won the big prize taking home Best British Soap after a critically-acclaimed year. 

    While most viewers were content with Emmerdale’s win, some believe the show was fixed.

    “This has got 2 b a bl**dy #fix,” complained one fan on Twitter.

    A second viewer said: “This is a bigger fix than yesterday’s episode of The Chase.”

    Another noted: “EastEnders should of won that!!!!!!! The best Soap of the year by a country mile.”

    A fourth commented: “Some very questionable “results” in tonight’s #SoapAwards… While I do, genuinely, congratulate all Winners – particularly @MarkCharnock – I’d be very interested to know the voting figures in the audience determined categories. #TeamCorrie #Corrie.”

    Viewers were also left gobsmacked to see that Doctors beat EastEnders, Corrie and Emmerdale to win best episode.

    Taking to Twitter to complain, on person wrote: “I’m sorry but who the f*** voted for doctors?! #soapawards.”

    A second added: “Sod off 😂 some better single episode storylines out there than doctors… didn’t even know that was still on”

    Corrie star Will Haigh unrecognisable after 20 years off screen

    Haigh quit acting 20 years ago and is the former star now looks completely different.

    Will briefly stared as Glen Middleham – a boyfriend of Sarah Platt – back in 2000.

    Haigh was a Coronation Street regular during his teen years until January 2001. He stared as Tina O’Brien‘s first serious boyfriend.

    Following his time on Corrie, Will had roles on Holby City and That Peter Kay Thing.

    But now, he lives a totally different life as a photographer for the Royal Navy.

    EastEnders: Stacey hurt as Kheerat keeps their relationship secret

    Stacey is left hurt and confused when Kheerat refuses to go public with their relationship.

    He even cut their date short when he saw Ranveer in the Square.

    His family want to find him a wife, and have set about looking to find him a match for an arranged marriage.

    Stacey is worried he is keeping their relationship under wraps because he is embarrassed.

    Will he strike up the courage to tell his family?

    EastEnders' Max Bowden shows off dapper Soap Awards outfit

    Max, who plays Ben Mitchell in EastEnders got dressed up for the occasion.

    The actor thanked Mr Guild London for helping him put together the outfit.

    Fans flocked to praise him in the comments, and one wrote: "you look amazing."

    EastEnders: Jay offers strong words of advice to Ben in emotional moment

    After Ben destroys the sofa in Lewis's bar, Jay gives him advice to cheer him up.

    Jay encouraged Ben to go to the police, and said "the offer was always on the table."

    He said he would take Ben away somewhere for a lads trip to take his mind off things.

    They shared a hug, and by the end, Ben was smiling again.

    He was absolutely fuming as he hunts for Lewis, crowbar in hand.

    Kathy and Jay make a desperate attempt to calm him down, before he hurts someone else.

    In blind rage from the trauma he sustained from the sex attack, Ben tears up Lewis's sofa with the crowbar.

      She learns her mother Faith is once again battling cancer, and that she won't make it this time and turns to Al.

      Chas is in complete denial of how ill her mother is, and leans on Al for comfort, but things heat up between the two.

      Once they have a couple of drinks, they become embroiled in a passionate kiss.

      Emmerdale’s Meena to make a return?

      Meena was given a lengthy prison sentence earlier in the year.

      The character was sentenced to a long time in prison after being found guilty for killing a series of people.

      Paige Sandhu, who plays Meena Jutla on the soap, won the award for Best Leading Performer at this year’s Soap Awards and continued to tease the possibility of a return.

      She said: “You know what, never say never. Anything goes in Emmerdale, especially for the 50th.

      “It’s going to be the biggest and best year yet. In the past, historically, Emmerdale has broken other prisoners out of jail so it could happen… but we’ll see.”

      The legendary bassist of Spandau Ballet has appeared in a series of shows both before and after his musical career.

      Following the band's breakup in the early ninties, he landed the role of villainous Steve Owen in EastEnders, which he played from 1998 to 2002.

      Steve was at the centre of the Who Shot Phil Mitchell storyline, and was eventually killed off in an epic car chase while attempting to kidnap Phil’s son Louise.

      Rachel Adedeji 

      This former singer turned actor finished ninth in her season of the X factor.

      Rachel joined the cast of Hollyoaks in 2015 as Lisa Loveday, the long-lost daughter of Simone and Louis Loveday, who had been missing for 15 years.

      Her character was eventually killed off by Toby Faroe in a case of mistaken identity in 2020.

      Van Life: EastEnders star on why life on the road is best

      EASTENDERS star Adam Woodyatt has revealed he is permanently living in his motorhome — because he loves it so much.

      The actor, 53, who plays Ian Beale, moved out of his London house — and has “no plans” to return.

      He bought the £100,000 vehicle last year after splitting from wife Beverley Sharp in 2019.

      The Sun revealed he splashed out after appearing in I’m A Celebrity.

      Woodyatt put his possessions into storage and just kept his coffee machine, fishing gear, iPad, iPhone and bicycle.

      He told a podcast: “It’s been 14 or 15 months and I’m absolutely loving it.

      “I’ve no plans to move out.

      “It’s a completely different way of life.

      “You don’t need the trappings.

      “We just accumulate stuff.”

        Following the reveal that Faith Dingle has breast cancer, her daughter, makes a live changing decision.

        With the news of her mothers sickness too much to handle her daughter Chas turns to another man for comfort – businessman Al Chapman.

        After almost a month of secrecy, sharing the weight of her diagnosis with her daughter-in-law Moira and nurse Wendy Posner, Faith Dingle (played by Sally Dexter), came clean about her cancer battle.

        Faith broke the news during her birthday gathering at The Woolpack, which was organised by her daughter Chas (Lucy Pargeter).

        Corrie fans in shock as Toyah is taken to jail

        CORONATION Street fans are in shock after Toyah Battersby was arrested for Imran Habeeb’s murder.

        The counsellor – who is played by actress Georgia Taylor in the ITV soap – was determined to convince the police that she didn’t mean to kill Imran, having already been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

        One wrote: “I don’t know how this gets resolved with Toyah. Because only she and Imran know what really happened?”

        A second said: “Adam was in love with Imran that’s why he’s going after Toyah so much. Pass it on.”

        Another added: “Toyah has feelings like a block of ice. She’s so business like only minutes after Imran’s funeral.”

        Last week Janine's true colours were truly shown.

        Janine crashed the car last week but upon realising the mess, she got out, hid her clothes and moved Linda to the driver's seat.

        Linda, who was drunk at the time, looked like she had been drink-driving.

        But this week, Janine's daughter, Scarlett, is onto her.
