EastEnders Hayley Slater’s secret to be exposed after a shock decision

Hayley Slater’s secret may be exposed after a shock decision causes some real problems.

The new mother has been struggling with her role as parent to baby Cherry, who she named after the baby’s great-grandmother, Alfie Moon’s nana.

However, the real issue is the baby’s father, as Hayley had an illicit affair with her cousin’s husband, and Kat has no idea what is going on.

Alfie and Hayley had a moment together when they were in Spain, after Kat and Alfie temporarily split over a terrible accident which befell their child, Tommy.

Alfie returned from Spain after believing Hayley had had an abortion, but he quickly realised this wasn’t the case when he met his daughter at Hayley’s birthday party.

He and Kat have been getting close again, but Kat has no idea about the baby.

But Hayley makes a shocking decision as she fears her secret may come out soon, and goes back to someone who has only caused problems for the family over the years – her mother.

So, in order to escape the potential for Kat to find out the truth, she asks Bev, her awful mother, if she can take her and Cherry in to keep away from Kat and Alfie, who are trying to get their marriage back on track.

Soon, she and her mum start fighting and things get pretty heated, pretty quickly, just as Kat turns up.

Kat overhears what is going on with the pair of them and stands up for Hayley as she bursts in, telling them to stop fighting.

However she has no idea what is about to happen, as the truth about Alfie and Hayley is soon to be exposed.

But when will Hayley and Alfie’s lies bubble up to the surface, and what will the Slater clan say as the baby’s dad is exposed?

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC1.
