Fans were quick to respond to the Twitter post, expressing their surprise at seeing the familiar face.

In 2018 she appeared in Hollyoaks for four episodes as social worker Liz, who was assigned to Courtney Campbell after the birth of her daughter Iona.

The actress has also appeared in Emmerdale on three separate occasions, and made a one off appearance in Doctors. Talk about a soap stalwart!

Her other credits include BBC drama Call the Midwife and an episode of school drama Waterloo Road.

In her current role as Suki Panesar, she is at the centre of the action, having recently ended her affair with Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).

And the drama is set to continue, as Suki is one of The Six and is set to be heavily involved in the highly anticipated Christmas murder.
