Dancing on Ice’s Sally Dynevor stuns fans as she gives sneak peek of ‘magical’ routine

Coronation Street actress Sally Dynevor has wowed fans after giving them a sneak peek of her Dancing on Ice routine alongside professional skating partner Matt Evers.

Sally, who will be taking to the ice as part of the ITV series, shared a short video to her Instagram account of their performance, including some impressive spins and tricks.

Writing alongside the teaser clip, the 58-year-old wrote: “Had fun this morning, thank you for having us @snowstorm_on_ice @thetraffordcentre Looking forward to seeing your show.”

And it didn’t take long for Sally’s fans to comment on her skating skills, telling her that she’s certain to be one to watch when the competition gets underway.

One wrote: “Wowser, such grace” alongside a string of clapping hand emojis.

Another added: “Looking amazing sally. Very graceful.” While others described Sally’s efforts as “magical.”

More Dancing on Ice fans said they couldn’t wait to watch the pair in action and predicted big things, writing: “Brilliant Sally you and Matt are going to be amazing and I can’t wait to vote for you both.”

Meanwhile, Sally, who plays the cobbles’ Sally Metcalfe, also impressed her Corrie castmates past and present, as they flocked to the comment section.

Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor and previously took part in Dancing on Ice, said: “Well done Sal!”

Sally Ann Matthews, aka the ITV soap’s Jenny Bradley, added: “Looking fab Sal.”

Elsewhere, Denise Welch, who played the role of Natalie Horrocks in Weatherfield and took part in DOI with Matt Evers, commented: “Sooo excited.”

While her former on-screen daughter Helen Flanagan, who starred as Rosie Webster, added her support with a heart eye emoji.

Previously opening up about her decision to take part in the ITV show, Sally revealed she knew it was now or never.

During an appearance on the Lorraine show, Sally explained: “If I don't do it this year, I don't think I'm ever going to do it.”

She continued: “I'm completely out of my comfort zone… I've just got to try and enjoy this experience.”
