Coronation Street's Nick Tilsley faces a cash crisis as the Elsa story rumbles on

Coronation Street‘s Nick Tilsley faces a financial crisis next week after striking a deal with his estranged wife Elsa.

Nick (Ben Price) finally comes up with a way to get Elsa out of his life later this week, vowing to repay his debt so their battles will finally be over.

Under-pressure Nick promises to pay back every penny that he stole from Elsa, as long as she keeps Leanne’s name out of the divorce proceedings.

Nick then tells Leanne (Jane Danson) that he’s going to have to come up with £40,000 to get out of the mess that he’s created for himself.

When the story continues into next week, Nick confides in Leanne about how money is going to be tight for the foreseeable future thanks to his big mistakes.

The struggling businessman admits that he’ll even have to sell his car for some quick cash, needing every penny he can get.

Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo), who becomes Nick’s housemate at the Battersby flat, is quick to make the most of the situation by turning it to his advantage.

How will Nick react when Imran cheekily offers to buy his car at a knock-down price?
